I could bore you with lots of lawyer-like details that our society seems to expect, despite how pointless and redundant that is (seriously, society, those of you who take stuff this so intensely seriously are really bumming us out -- so chill -- who wants to read that blabitty blah blah anyway?), so instead I'll provide a shorter version that is still legally binding. Because, honestly.. if you're planning on using this site, there's not really a whole lot you need to know. The simple matter of the fact is that this page only exists for legal reasons. Legal reasons that we plan to avoid. But if you're reading this because you plan on causing us legal issues, then I think we need to work on our relationship because we've obviously hit a road bump. You see, UniFaction loves each and every one of you, and we ask that you return this favor to us. If you are unwilling to return that favor, then we are simply baffled at your choice of interaction with us and kindly ask you to refrain from using this site (effectively immediately).
Before I start, I'd also like to quickly address the jurers of the world. It's easy to tell that the vast majority of legal issues are caused by the emotionally unhealthy minority of individuals with unrealistic expectations. Generally, something that could be easily solved is instead blown way out of proportion. So some lawyer guy who knows more about law than the people programming some cool games for the pleasant enjoyment of mankind steps in and is more than willing to ruin those people's lives in exchange for a fortune at their expense. So if for some insane reason this site actually gets involved with legal matters, instead of offering them money, lets just think logically and offer an easy solution (reverse the polarity, anyone?). I mean, let's face it - giving them money just perpetuates the ridiculous problems with our system without actually solving the issue supposedly at hand. Common sense FTW!
Anyways, let's get down to business (that's what she said). You need to understand that I don't have time to search through seven trillion lines of government law and then regurgitate it for you. So I've got a solution. By using this site you are agreeing that at any given moment, any law that I feel should apply or applies at the times of my choosing - does. You have voluntarily agreed to those terms by registering at this site. Also, there is absoultely no responsibility taken from UniFaction site for ANYTHING that happens here. So if you're offended by something, whoopidy doo. We're not going to treat everyone on our site like 5 year olds. We respect that there are practical limits (and we will be practical), but we'd like to defend our user's right to have some fun on the internet without having to worry about all sorts of restrictions. If society is okay with the media and movies showing five-year olds violence, hatred, murder, gore, and torture, then this site is the least of your worries. Use our services at your own risk for the sake of awesomeness.
You must be over the age of 13 to join this site. Why? Because some politicians apparently decided there was a dire need for children under the age of 13 to be sheltered from the world. And even if you're supposedly mature, if you have legal guardians, you need to get their permission to join UniFaction. You also need to tell your legal guardians what this site is about, the fact that it is very awesome, and everything you do on this site. You cannot hide what you're doing on this site (EVER) from your legal guardians (again, this is for legal purposes). If you have hidden anything from your legal guardians, you are breaking the TOS. It is your legal guardian's responsibility to ensure that you are not doing anything inappropriate with the use of this site. If you do something inappropriate or illegal, both you and your legal guardians will be held responsible. Oh SNAP!
Suffice to say, if anything "bad" happens while you are on this site ("bad" in this case refers to anything is unfortunate enough that you or your legal guardians feel the need to bring it to the attention of anyone but yourself), you are unable to hold anyone accountable but yourself and your legal guardians. If you do attempt to hold somebody accountable or ever attempt to sue us, we will sue you in return. For double. And we'll win. And by joining our site, you agree to those terms. In fact, not only do we get to win, but we also get to do a celebritory dance. If you do not agree to those terms, do not register at this site or use it in any way.
And for goodness sakes, people... never EVER do anything illegal or inappropriate on this site. If you do, and it happens to upset somebody (such as your parents), we will discipline you based on the severity of the offense. And believe me, you do not want to be disciplined by us. No siree. Here at UniFaction you WILL be held completely responsible for your actions and be punished the full extent of the law if your actions so happen to be the cause of any legal issues that UniFaction has. So, rather than do illegal and inappropriate stuff, just... be awesome. Because then stuff works out, and we all get along well.
There... now that we're done addressing all of the boring, misguided legal jargon that's tearing our country apart, let's recap... UniFaction is awesome. You're awesome. And we all get along together. And you want everybody else to get along. If there were dancing leprechauns and unicorns, they would join UniFaction because that's the type of personality we exude. If you don't think that's the case, you should leave now and pretend that UniFaction and unicorns don't exist. Even though it's possible that they are real (that's what she said).
You may not, under any circumstances, use a web crawler, or automated system to gain Auro or perform any other task. This includes auto-refreshers. Any benefits from the use of automated systems will be traced and deleted, whatever form it is in. We will also delete any wrongfully acquired items or Auro transferred to any other account controlled by you. The first doesn't really cover any other potential use of automated systems that may pop up as Uni gets new features, or people making something that does automated things for purposes other than Auro gain. ĘThis just clarifies things so people don't try to be sneaky or say things like, "I automated combat for experience and not for Auro!"
